Dr. Ahmed M. Hasan M.D, M.P.H, F.A.C.G, F.A.C.P, A.G.A.F received his medical degree from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1982. He also received his Masters degree in Public Health (M.P.H) from New York Medical College. He did his medical internship at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He completed his medical residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship from New York Medical College/Westchester County Medical Center.

Dr. Schwartz's gastroenterologic expertise includes non-surgical, non-invasive hemorrhoidal banding, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Esophageal Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome, colon cancer screening, and abdominal pain.

Dr. Schwartz graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He attended Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for residency before completing his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Northwestern University, where he was awarded the Northwestern University Outstanding Young Investigator Research Award.

Dr. Mahreema Jawairia is a Gastroenterologist. She sees patients at Lehigh Gastroenterology Associates based in Lehighton. She speaks English, Hindi, and Urdu fluently and hence can cater to an adverse audience.

Dr. Jawairia received her Bachelors degree from Queens College, University of NY. Attended Medical School at St. Christopher IBA Mar Diop College of Medicine. She is affiliates with St. Luke’s Hospital, Gnaden Campus. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a specialization in Gastroenterology. She has written and published several note worthy articles and has held leadership positions during her college career. She is a kind and cooperative professional who has her patient’s best interests at heart.

Renee Rehrig is a board certified Physician Assistant who has been working in GI for over 11 years. She graduated Suma Cum Laud from Cedar Crest College with a BS in Neuroscience. Her Master’s Degree is from King’s College in Physician Assistant studies. Originally from Upstate NY, Renee has been with Dr. Hasan since January 2012. Renee feels it is important to interact with her patients in a way so that they can understand their medical conditions. She actively involves patients in their treatment plan to aide their well-being.

Kelci Tkach is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been working in gastroenterology for over 5 years. She graduated from King’s College with a master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies with a Neuroscience minor. She is blessed to be taking care of patients within her own community that she was born and raised. It is important to Kelci to interact with her patients in a way that they can understand their medical conditions since every patient is unique and needs an individualized approach to their care.
